Haryana Govt Colleges to Offer AI & Future Tech Courses for the First Time from 2025-26 Session | A Big Leap in Higher Education
Haryana is witnessing a revolutionary change in the field of higher education. The state government has approved the introduction of cutting-edge and industry-ready courses like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Science, Cloud Computing and Future Technology in government colleges for the first time from the 2025-26 academic session. This initiative is being considered a big step towards preparing the new generation for future jobs.
AI studies in government colleges for the first time
Till now technical subjects like AI and machine learning were limited only to private universities and institutions in big cities. But now students will be able to do courses like BCA in Artificial Intelligence in government colleges of Haryana as well. These courses have been designed keeping in mind the industry demand, so that students can be fully prepared for technology-based jobs.

Which colleges are getting the opportunity?
These courses are being started in some of the prominent colleges selected by the government:
RKSD College, Kaithal – BCA in Artificial Intelligence
Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Karnal – BCA in Artificial Intelligence
Maharaja Agrasen College, Jagadhri – BCA in Artificial Intelligence
CRM Jat College, Hisar – BSc in Future Technology
In these colleges, students will now be able to study subjects like Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision and Robotics. Along with this, they will also be taught core subjects of Computer Science.
BCA in AI: Course Highlights
Dr. A.S. Mann, spokesperson of RKSD College, Kaithal, said that the BCA in AI and Data Science course has been divided into 6 semesters. The course will also include practical labs, internships and a capstone project. This will give students experience of a real-working environment.
The course fee has been kept at around ₹32,000 per year, which makes this course financially affordable as well.
BSc in Future Technology: New step by CRM Hisar
Principal of CRM College, Hisar, Prof. Dr. Rajesh informed that BSc in Future Technology has been designed according to business needs. This course will focus on business skills related to technology. Before starting the course, the college will have to take formal approval from AICTE.

Other new courses that got approval
This time a total of 16 new courses have been approved by the government, which include:
BSc in Data Science
MA in Music (Vocal)
Bachelor in Library and Information Science
PG Diploma in Yoga
MSc Computer Science (Data Science and ML)
MSc in Apparel and Textiles
BSc in IT Industry Academy
MSc in Mass Communication and Journalism
BSc in Cloud Computing and Information Security
Industry experts have been taken help in designing these courses so that students can find themselves fit in the job market as soon as they leave college.
Which courses did not get approval?
However, there were some courses which did not get the green signal this time. These include:
PG Diploma in Guidance Counselling & Physiotherapy
Multidisciplinary MSc Course
PG Diploma in Digital Marketing
These courses are likely to be introduced in a revised form in the next academic session.
