Miss World 2025 crown is worth Rs 3 crore: Crown adorned with 1770 diamonds, Nandini Gupta of India included in top-40
A wonderful news has come from Hyderabad – The grand finale of Miss World 2025 is going to be held on 31 May, in which 40 contestants selected from all over the world will spread their diamonds. The most special thing is that this time the Miss World crown is worth almost Rs 3 crore, which is made of white gold and has 1770 diamonds studded in it. Nandini Gupta of India has also secured a place in the top-40.
Crown of Crores: White Gold and Heroines
Miss World Organization CEO Julia Morley told Daily Bhaskar in an exclusive interview that this year’s crown is a magnificent masterpiece. This crown has 1770 diamonds of 175.49 carats, which are not only priceless but also amazing in glory and splendor. The base of the crown is of 18 carat white gold. The blue color of the crown is considered a symbol of peace, wisdom and loyalty.

The new Miss World will not only be given a crown, but also a cash prize of ₹1.15 crore – which is more than last time. Julia says, “The real reward is not the crown, but the life that the contestant wins after becoming Miss World – travelling around the world, human welfare projects and the opportunity to raise one’s voice on the global stage.”
Contestants selected from 108 countries are included in the top-40
Hyderabad is the host city of Miss World 2025, where this mega beauty pageant started from 10 May. 40 finalists have been selected from 108 contestants who came from 4 continents – America-Caribbean, Africa, Asia-Oceania and Europe. Top 10 contestants from each continent have got a place in the top-40.
India’s Nandini Gupta, who has won the Miss India crown in 2023, has also registered her name in the Top-40. She is also about to win the first “Top Model” event.
Nandini Gupta: Kota’s daughter who is shining on the world stage
22-year-old Nandini Gupta belongs to Kota city of Rajasthan. Her father is a farmer, who cultivates 200 bigha land. Nandini did her schooling from St. Paul Senior Secondary School in Kota, and today she is studying Business Management from Lala Lajpat Rai College in Mumbai.
Julia Morley said about Nandini, “Even if a contestant has not performed well in any sport or talent round, the interview round and final Q&A session can change their game. Nandini has won the Top Model title, and her social work is also amazing. I am sure that her interview will be strong.”

Bollywood’s Sonu Sood also included in the jury
The most crucial phase – Interview Round – will run between 28 to 30 May. During this, 11 jury members, which also includes Bollywood actor Sonu Sood, will question the top-40 contestants. The answers to these questions will decide which 5 lucky contestants will reach the final Q&A.
This process is kept completely confidential. The names of the Final 5 are not told to any contestant in advance. Their selection is announced in front of everyone on the day of the Grand finale.
Finale Night: A meeting of Glamour, Culture and Intelligence
The Grand Finale of Miss World 2025 will begin at 10 pm on 31 May, which will run till 1 am. During this time, the Top-40 contestants will walk the ramp and show cultural performances. Then the Top-5 will be announced, between which there will be a live Q&A session on stage. The contestant whose answer will be the most impactful will be crowned with a crown of Rs 3 crore.
