Shardul thakur took 4 wickets and won the purple cap. Prince yadav, Avesh khan, digvesh Rathi, Ravi Bishnoi – everyone got one wicket each.
In the second innings –
Mitchell Marsh and Pooran together made a tremendous partnership of 116 runs in which Pooran scored 70 runs in 26 balls, hit 6 sixes and 6 fours, Pooran’s strike rate was 269 and Mitchell Marsh also scored 52 runs in 31 balls yesterday, in which he hit 7 fours and 2 sixes, the partnership of these two made the match one-sided.
In the end, Miller and Samad together finished the match quickly, Abdul Samad scored 22 runs in 8 balls and Miller scored 13 runs in 7 balls and by finishing the target of 191 in 16.1, they won the first victory of IPL 2025 by 5 wickets.
Hyderabad took 5 wickets of Lucknow in which captain Cummins took 2 wickets and Shami, Jampa, Harshal Patel took 1 wicket each.
Man of the match
Yesterday’s man of the match was awarded to Shardul Thakur because he took 4 wickets in his bowling and gave only 34 runs due to which Hyderabad could not give a big target.
